Beginning his academic journey at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Dr. Allan earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. His passion for healthcare led him further to acquire a doctorate in Dental Medicine from UBC, where he distinguished himself by graduating among the top of his class.

To deepen his expertise, Dr. Allan pursued a General Practice Residency. This intensive training encompassed rotations at esteemed institutions like the Vancouver General Hospital, BC Children’s Hospital, BC Cancer, as well as long-term care homes and multiple oral surgery centers. This hands-on experience sharpened his skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, oral pathology, intravenous sedation, and managing dental emergencies.

Now, with this wealth of knowledge and experience, Dr. Allan eagerly contributes to elevating patient care, both in private practice and as a hospital dentist. His commitment and proficiency earned him provisional privileges at the Elk Valley Hospital and as a locum at BC Cancer in Vancouver and Surrey.

Outside of his professional realm, Dr. Allan revels in the joys of fatherhood, cherishing moments with his beautiful infant daughter. Though time might be scarce, he never misses an opportunity to embrace the outdoors, be it ski touring or mountain biking.
